In this video I will go over how to edit a picture of a sunrise. Keep in mind I want to keep this image looking dramatic and kind of dark. I simply want to clean it up and bring out the colors a bit.
Here is one I shot this Saturday. It was so windy out I only got 2 shots in before packing up and leaving. It was so uncomfortable being out on the beach, we kept getting sand blasted and everyting kept getting tipped over, however the photos turned out ok. I always say crazy weather makes good pictures. Here is a full tutorial on how I shoot this kind of photos.
Settings: 10 stop ND filter 77 seconds F16 ISO 100
In this video I walk you through how I frame pictures and what I think about during my time out on the field. This applies to any kind of photography. On this particular video I focus on Street Photography.
I did a photoshoot of this beautiful home a while back, but the best part was the kitchen. I cook a lot so I can appreciate a nice kitchen. This one felt so airy and inviting, that I wanted to translate that into the pictures. I used a wide angle and a speed light to splash light in the walls. I was exposing for the outside to get all the greens to come through the windows. I have a new Realestate photography course coming out in the next couple months. For now check out my Real Estate Photography Presets.
In this video I will show you how to clean up a beach scape using some basic but effective sliders. You will see that making a goal adjustments and a few local adjustments can dramatically change an image.
Rise and shine, today is the best day ever!!! I woke up at 4am to track Mathews but it is still very peaceful here in Miami. I went to the beach and it was completely empty (even after the sun came up), there is a mild wind carrying an eerie energy with it. There are city workers cleaning up the beach preparing for Mathews, who knows what is going to happen. Here is what I saw, I felt I was being kissed by the sun. This was shot on Oct 5th before hurricane Mathew…
