This is a really cool photo. It was a sunrise, Miami looked erie, and quite gray, but the moon looked amazing. Lucky for me I had my 70-200mm lens. I quickly pulled it out and took a few shots of this awesome scene. I couldn’t believe how big the moon was, so I sat there and admired it for a while before I headed back home with a fat grin on my face. Once I got home, I really couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed, lucky for me I have a photo of it that always take me back to that day.

I shot this a few years back in Naples Florida, and believe it or not it is still one of my favorite photos. I really like going to the West Coast of Florida, it is much more relaxed over there and a lot more peaceful. I often go there to get away from the noise, and ofcouse to take some beautiful sunset photos. You can see my Naples Gallery here.

This is one of my favorite shots from Ocean Drive. I was actually teaching one of my Sunset and Night Photography Workshops when I shot this photo. I saw this puddle of water on the floor and I knew I had to get down really low and get a reflection shot of the iconic Colony Hotel. To shoot this I had to get on the ground and I was shooting super wide. I used my 14-24mm lens.

This is La Floridita in Havana Cuba. It is Ernest Hemingway favorite hang out in Old Havana, and it is also home to the famous Daiquiri. I was on my way to a roof top bar to take some photos and have a beer when I encounterd this place. It was packed and I was curios as to what this place was. One of the guys I was with told me the story. I did not go inside simply because I did not feel like being in a big crowd that night, but I did stay and took lots of pictures of the cars and the people gathering outside this awesome popular hangout. It is amazing the history every corner of this city has.
If you want to Visit La Floridita the best way to do it is to come with me. I am hosting a photography workshop in Cuba. Here is the link with all the details.

If you are a new photographer in Miami you probably haven’t heard of this place. It is a very cool spot to take pictures from. Its on the top of a parking garage and it is open to the public. You do not have to do anything illegal to get here, simply park and look over the wall to see the amazing lights.
I come here often to get some pictures and clear my head. Above is the exact location. Maybe I’ll see you there?

The Blue Lagoon in Malta is quite amazing. I have heard about this paradise before, but seeing it with my own eyes is something else.
The Blue Lagoon is located between Malta and Gozo in the Mediterranean sea. You can get a boat charter there or rent a boat and take your self there. I did both. When I arrived there I felt like I was in paradise, I was so happy to be there. I hiked the island and swam in the perfect waters. It was just incredible. Make sure you bring some water and some snacks specially if you are going to stay there all day, and trust me you are going to want to do just that.
I’m not done with The Blue Lagoon just yet. I see a few more trips to this incredible place in my near future.
