Crazy Sky and Crazy Colors

Here is an insane sunset. I shot this form Miami Beach, from 5th street to be exact. I was hoping for a good sunset but instead I got a crazy one. The colors were insane, the sky was on fire and it just kept getting better and better. We had about 45 minutes of greatness, it was perfect.

Sometimes I’m lucky to get 2 minutes of color, and sometimes you get non stop action into the night.

Sail With Me

If there is a sunset to catch in Florida it must be in Key West. You can see some of the most insane sunsets from here, this is Mallory Square and I must warn you it gets completely packed so get there a bit early. This place is cool because you have a direct view of the sunset. There are lots of boats going by so you can get some good shots. Make sure you have a zoom so you can compress the sun. I shot this with a 70-200 but if you have a 300 or bigger, its even better.

There are lots of artists there and some great live music, after the sunset you can catch a drink at the famous Duval Street.

Miami Reflections

Here is a shot I took of the amazing Miami skyline form a new angle. This skyline has to be one of the most beautiful in the country, it has all the elements, tall buildings, beautiful sky, water, and some insane boats.

I love shooting around here, you would think that after 7 years I would be over it, but I’m really not, its forever challenging and beautiful.

How I keep things interesting is by going around new places trying to find new perspectives.

South Pointe Long Expo

Here is a long exposure I did almost a year ago, omg where does time go?? I remember this particular morning, one of my friends picked me up and we headed out bright and early. We stopped at this awesome pier to do some long exposures with some filters. It turned out great even though it was very gloomy out this morning.

We stuck around until it was really bright and kept on shooting until we got really really hungry.
