Here is an insane sunset I shot in Bahia Honda. It’s a state park on the way down to Key West. Here is another post with exact directions to this place. We planned this entire trip on the sun setting between the broken old bridge. There were clouds earlier in the day but all left right before sunset.

Just like in all of Miami, there is a new construction site by my house. I spotted this old dock when I was on a walk with my doggie, I immediately knew I had to get a flick of it. I came back with my camera and had to do some ninja moves to get in, but I managed. This is the result of a bit of hard work.

Crazy skies over Miami during sunset. I was struggling to find the right settings on my camera but I think it looks ok for the conditions. I shot this with a Phantom 3 and I think its time to upgrade to something a bit better with a better camera.
This camera works just fine, I just do not like the fixed aperture at 2.8 I wish I had a bit more control over my F-stop.
One of the coolest places to take pictures from in Miami is the 1111 Lincoln Garage. This place has great views of the city, it is best to come at night or during sunset. Both of this photos are beautiful, however I always tell people that they have to wait for something to happen in order to bring emotion to the image. Here is a perfect example. The first image is a beautiful sunset, but when you add the human element it creates a better story, you can actually put your self in that palace making the image more powerful.

The gear I used for all my photos: Nikon D850 with a Nikon 14-24mm a Nikon 24-85mm a Nikon 70-200. A tripod is a must. I edit all my images with my Lightroom Presets download them and give them a try.

Beast photography spots in Miami
1. 1111 Lincoln Road. It’s a parking garage and these are the views. Best time to shoot is at night.
2. Maurice Gibb Memorial Park. Best time to shoot is at sunset.
3. Ocean Drive in front of the Beacon Hotel. (This is the most photographed and best-known spot in Ocean Dr.) Many movies have been filmed here including Scarface. Best times to shoot is at night.
4. Venetian Causeway. This is a long strip and you can get some amazing views, this one in my favorite and most underrated. Best time to shoot is at night.
5. The Beach Lifeguard Towers. This is the coolest one. Best time to shoot them is at sunrise.
6. Best Buy Parking garage on 5th and Alton. This is a great spot. The best time to shoot is at sunset.
7. Children’s Museum. Make sure you go under the bridge. Best time to shoot is at sunset and at night.
8. South Pointe Park & Pier. The best time to shoot is at sunrise and at sunset on the Westside.
9. The beach. Anywhere on the beach is breath-taking. The best time to shoot is at sunrise.
10. The Bay Walk. This place is stunning. The best time to shoot is at sunset.
11. Bonus spot is the Venetian Causeway.
