It’s Thursday, where did the week go? Seems that just as soon as I start to catch up the week starst over…Anyhow, so I wanted to tell you about my Miami Beach First Annual Photography Hunt I am hosting here in Miami Beach. I have a photography club here called The Miami Beach Photography Club, and we have been talking about doing a photography scavenger hunt, and I am extending the invite to you. I have done a few of this on my day and they are lots of fun, not only do you learn about more about photography but you also get to work with other photographers in a really goofy fun environment.
The concept is very simple, you show up with a camera, and I will give you instructions on what to do next when you are there. I will be selecting a winner and the price will be one of my photographs printed on metal worth $500.00
We will meet on Sunday August the 19th on the corner of Alton and Lincoln Road infront of the move theater here in Miami Beach. There you will see me and my crew handing out instructions of what to do and where to submit your photos. I really hope you can make it as it is lots of fun and who knows, you might walk away with bragging rights, one of my photographs, and most importantly new friends… Have a great rest of the day and I will see you there peeps. Happy Saturday peeps. Tattooed Girls Rock, meet Jess… I did this shoot yesterday with Jess, it was a blast and we got some some good stuff. If you scroll down there is a photo of my set up. I used 3 lights, on some only 2.

I woke up at 5 am to go watch the sunrise this morning here in Miami Beach, but the sun never came. I still walked around and took some cool photos, the sky was amazing and the ocean was really still. I didn’t get to see the sun come up but I still got a beautiful morning.

Whats good out there? I shot this last week form a new parking garage here in Miami Beach next to Lincoln Rd. Thats our movie theater you see on the left. It was a slow night, not a lot of cars or people in the streets as you can see. Never the less I managed to get a cool shot.

Happy Friday peeps, whats on your agenda for the weekend? Lots of photography for me and a Jane’s Addiction concert. Should be lots of fun :)
I took this photo last Sunday while laying on the sand. I must say the best thing about living in Miami Beach are the Sunrises and the Sunsets, everything in-between is just a bonus (im a sucker for the sun and the ocean). I shot this with a 14-24mm lens. I will have a full write up on it in the next few days so stay tunned peeps.
