Steve Aoki in Miami. Here are some awesome shots of Steve Aoki in Miami at the Bitcoin Conference. My team and I covered the entire thing and it was a blast! A ton of work but a blast to say the least. There were so many celebs, and cool people all over. What a massive conference and a great place to make incredible connections and take some epic photos.
This is actually the 3rd or 4th time I shoot Steve, he is a ton of fun and the energy he brings to the stage is awesome. He never disappoints!
I shot this entire show with a Sony a7 IV. I just picked it up and I like like it, I’m not going to lie, however I like the Nikon colors way better. The Sony is so small and light, its hard to walk away from it. Caring the Nikon D850 with massive lenses all day can get a bit tiering.
For now, I will keep the Sony and possibly get another one as a back up. My Nikons still work great, I am still going to keep them as I use them for my landscapes. For events however, the Sony will do the trick., and the more I use it, the more I like it.

Logic Live on stage
My experience with Logic live on stage
I have shot so many shows in my day, but Logic was a bit different. I love Logic and the message he spreads with his music. There I was photographing the event but enjoying the show just as much. The crowd was going crazy before he came out and after he walked on stage it got that much crazier. The crowd went wild and for good reason. You could feel the energy, the hairs behind my neck stood up and stayed up during the entire performance.
I had never seen Logic perform before, and let me tell you he is awesome. I had seen him backstage getting ready to go out and I had no idea he was so good live. There I was taking photos and taking his lyrics in. It is so cool being so close to this incredible artists.
That is one of the perks of photographing music events, you get to be part of the action and of course, the photos are insane. It’s hard to take a bad shot, especially with that kind of energy in the building. This was iHeart Radio Jingle Ball 2017, and it was a blast. If you ever get a chance to see Logic, do it. You will be in for a treat.

Walking the streets of Santiago de Cuba you see lots of different things. This guy stood out, he was playing his guitar collecting tips. He had the best smile on his face, it was honest and genuine, you could just feel it. If you are interested in going to Cuba with me check out my workshops page.

Happy Friday Peeps, I went to watch and shoot Daughtry the Band last night and they rocked it. This was a free concert on the beach put up by Nascar and CocaCola. I love living in Miami Beach not only is there cool stuff going on all the time, but we also get lots of this amazing free events. Not to mention the weather, girls, and the ocean… What are your plans for the weekend? I have lots of photos to shoot and share with the world.
