I quickly graved my cam put it down to my waist and shot this, came out really cool considering I shot it from the hip… I kept walking and looked back dude was gone… See you tomorrow.

I shot this photos in NYC in the subways, I love shooting down there (photos that is) Its so different than any other place in the planet, there is always something happening. When I shot this this lady kept looking around, the guy in the back seemed like we was looking for someone. I kept my camera up to my eye and and was waiting for that exact moment to make eye contact and finally snap….

Walking home from the beach while being disappointed from a not so photogenic sunrise, I stumbled upon this man, he was sleeping with a cigarette in his mouth and he looked interesting (remedied me of some type of gangster form the 50s) I immediately stopped, took my camera out of my bag snapped this shot walking away with a smile on my face. Tho I didn’t get a good sunrise that day I eded up hanging out at the beach and taking this photo… Its not always a complete failure…

(thats where I’m from) My sister and I were walking to the cathedral when I spotted this kids, the boy was playing this beautiful songs and the little girl was asking for money. I got on my knees and snapped 2 shots at a slow shutter speed, I wanted to capture the busy world around them…

30 days of street photography day 2:

This was here in Miami at Wynwood during an art walk, I actually had a booth here and was selling my tshirts. While I was sitting there sipping on my coffee, I spotted this woman across the way looking for someone. Without hesitation I graved my camera walked up to her and snapped a shot… I think I might of freaked her out a bit, she walked away right after….

30 days of street photography Day 1

30 days of street photography Day 1:

Happy Friday peeps. For the next 30 days I am going to share with you some of my favorite street photographs I have taken over the past few months. I love street photography, it is one of the toughest forms of photography and in my opinion impossible to master. Once you overcome the fear of photographing complete strangers at close range on the streets, it is one of the most rewarding forms of photography there is. (in my opinion)

There is a certain level of freedom when photographing strangers on the streets, I mean its all unscripted and there are no rules to follow, you, your camera and complete strangers. The truth is I don’t post a lot of this photos, but I certainly take a lot of them.

Look at the masters of photography Robert Doisneau, Ellion Erwitt, Bruce Gilden, the list goes on… when you think photography even if you know nothing about it you think of one of their epic photographs shot on the streets…

Ill start with this one. Venice Beach basket ball. I was on Venice Beach chillin when I saw this guys playing ball with such intensity I thought they were going to kill each other. So I stood underneath the basketball hoop and stated shooting… This was shot at 14mm…
