The reason I live in Miami is because of the weather. It is always beautiful here. Sure we get some rainy days but hey 90% of the time is sunny, warm and beautiful. I think this picture translates that very well. I wanted to get the boat cruising by in motion to create a sense of movement in the photo, while the sail ship in the back is perfectly still surrounded by birds.

Here is a photo of the Carnival Sensation going out to sea during sunset. I love watching the ships leave the port, they all leave one after the other and its awasome to wacth. They usually start leaving around 5pm and there are about 5-6 that leave. I usually watch them from South Point Park. It is awesome. If you are ever in Miami Beach, I highly recommend you go watch them.

I am currently packing to head out to lead my NYC Photography Workshop, I am scheduling a couple posts because I will be so busy in NYC I probably wont have time to do anything except take pictures. Hey nothing wrong with that. By the time I get back this will just be posting.
I shot this las January on a very, very cold day. It was awesome because I was with some great friends and have some really nice memories. I remember we were walking all day and it did not end here, we still managed to cross the Brooklyn bridge after. Let me just say everyone was hungry, cold and ready for bed after. (I can’t believe its almost been a year already)
This is the statue of Liberty in NYC. I shot it with a 70-200 Here are my settings:

Here is another insane sunset at Naples Florida, I know I know what can I say I just love Naples, it is such a cool spot, specially since its in the West Coast of Florida. Remember I am in the East Coast, so sunsets are kind of special since we are always shooting the sunrises around here. This was particularly special because we almost missed it. I mean we were speeding to get there (we got side tracked at the Everglades followed by Pizza and beer). We got there on time and were greeted by an amazingly pink and colorful sunset.
The sunset gods where with us this particular day… Which one do you like better?

As I was taking a long exposure watching the beautiful sunset out of the corner of my eye I saw this little girl running towards me. For a second I thought she was going to knock over my camera, fortunately nothing happened, she simply wanted to play in the sand. I took one more click to get her in the picture, lucky for me I did just that.
I love the contrast of her pink dress. Sometimes things like this happen and you must capitalize on it.
