Here is another example how bad weather makes great photos. This was shot about 10 minutes before a crazy storm came down. What is crazy about this is that only a couple of us were shooting, everyone else left to seek cover. I find that mind blowing specially when as a photographer our number one goal is to find epic conditions to shoot.
Remember bad weather makes for great photos. Do not run and hide, instead press that shutter.
Camera settings: 1/400 F8 ISO 320
This shot was hand held and it was really windy, by me raising my iso and shutter speed I was making sure I did NOT get a blurry picture. Check out the vlog below.
Its been raining like crazy here in Miami, but that has not stopped me from going out to shoot. In fact it was made me go out more. Like I always say, bad weather makes great photos, and this crazy weather is no different. I went out last night to catch some night shots, it has been a while since I went out on a night shoot and last night it paid off.
It was great just being out there taking cool pics and just having out with friends talking and laughing about life. Thats what photography is all about, having a good time.
Check out the vid for behind the scenes and all the madness that went down, including the spot we got kicked out from.
Here is a photo of Miami I shot the other night. I was a bit gloomy and rainy but once the sun set and the lights came on it was a different ball game. This is one of Miamis best places to get a really good shot of the skyline.
You have a clear view of the city, and if it starts to rain, you have a bridge to go under. I love coming here to shoot, and just to hang out, its a good place to spend some time and clear your mind.
Check out the vid for the behind the senses. There is also a detailed map if you are from out of town trying to get some cool Miami skyline pics.
I love coming to this particular spot, however I always get kicked out by the police. Not this time, I actually showed up and had all the time in the world to shoot, it was perfect. I did a few different locations and I am supper happy with the results, specially since it had been raining all day and had finally stopped by the time I got there.
The photography gods where with me this particular night.
I shot this last night at Bayside in Miami. I wanted to get the sunset, however there were no colors in the sky during sunset. I had to wait for blue hour and thats when this image came to life. Check out the video for the behind the scenes.
