Stuck in a Funk

I hate it when I get stuck in a funk, but as an artist you must fight through and get out of it. This doesn’t happen often, but when it does, it can be really frustrating, you just have to remember to push through it and get the job done.

This was happening to me over the weekend, however persistence paid off. This is such a great spot to photograph, but for some reason I could not find my grove.

I kept pushing through until I finally got a decent shot. Here are the results. Check out the vid to see the how frustrated I was and what led up to finally capturing this shot.

When everything comes together

Ansel Adams once said “Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.” I could not agree more with this quote. It is only when all the elements come together and you happened to be there that the magic will happen.

For me, that was yesterday. It all happened so fast, but when it was all said and done, it was perfect. Top that off by an awesome circle of friends to share that moment with, and you have the perfect recipe for awesomeness.

Sunset Cliffs San Diego

California was just awesome, it was so much fun. I went from San Diego to Santa Monica and back. This is how my trip ended. I shot this at sunset cliffs in San Diego California the last day I was there. In fact I went to the airport right after to catch a red eye back home.

Everglades Mist

I shot this at the Everglades National Park shortly after sunrise. It was so humid out the entire place looked amazing. It was like something out of a scary movie without the scary part.  I sat there and took it all in before snapping my shutter.

Timelaspe from Miami

Here is a timelapse I put together from some clips I found in my hard drive. Let me know what you think. Enjoy :)
