The new Smugmug:
So what is all this talk about the new Smugmug? Well let me tell you, it is awesome. I have been using them for a long time and I was never really happy with them. I have a main site www.edinchavez.com but I have always used Smugmug to sell my prints. A while back I kind of gave up on it and was looking for something better to sell my photos, and then there was a big announcement. The new Smugmug. Let me tell you what a difference, the new design is so amazing, from how it looks to how it functions. Not only can you display your beautiful work but you can also make some extra cash by selling your photos. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
Ok ok enough of me blabbing about how cool it is. You can try it out for free. Trust me its super ez and if you hate it you have nothing to lose. I promise you are going to love it. It takes minutes to set up, and its free to try out. Click HERE and give it a run, if you need help drop me a message, if you want to se mine go to www.edinrocks.com

Good day peeps, last week I was in San Francisco and I got to go to this awesome Google Glass Photowalk. The #TreyHawkWalk with Trey Ratcliff and Thomas Hawk, there was over 400 people and it was kind of nuts but lots of fun. If you want to see more photos from the event go HERE.
Below are my photos from the walk, I was focused on street photography more than anything else. This was shot with my Nikon D800 but I was also shooting film. Photos to come soon..
Happy humpday peeps, spread the love…

Miami Long Exposure Photography,
Good day peeps, here are some long exposures I took last week during a crazy stormy day we had here in Miami. This is the miami skyline and on the other one is the American Airlines Arena. This were shot at 3 and 4 minutes with at 10 stop ND filter.
I was editing photos and wasn’t about to leave my house that day. I kept looking out the window and kept thinking to my self “if I don’t go shoot some long expos I will regret it” So I graved my gear and went out there. Got lucky enough to shoot about 10 frames and get this two cool shots before it started pouring. I shot some timelapse too with my other camera…
Check out my Main Site, it just got a face lift. I will also be uploading new galleries to it so make sure you come back soon. Have a great weekend everyone…Spread the love…

The back of the Hollywood Sign. I have photographed the Hollywood sign dozens of times, but never like this. I have always wanted to go to it and see what its like to see the city how it sees it. I have always heard stories about the motion sensors, and the cameras, and the people getting arrested for going up there. This time I was determined to go to it regardless of the consequences. It turnes out its super ez to get to it, hundreds of people do it everyday. There is a paved road that takes you to this very spot. There is security to make sure you don’t do anything stupid but it is not the mission I thought it was going to be. This photos are by far my favorites of the Hollywood Sign. I will be back sometime this summer to shoot it some more, perhaps from a helicopter this time…

I have been so busy its been crazy, but a good thing. So the Art Expo went extremely well, I sold some pieces, met some amazing people, and made some new friends. The weather was too cold for my taste but we still went out every night until the wee hrs of the night (morning) and got some great photos. Special thanks to Jaci for helping me with the madness and to everyone that came out to support me and the awesome art scene.
I am currently working on my site (as always) so look out for a new face lift. Also check out my new Galleries Page where you can find photos by places (still on the works).
Here is a photo of Zarcero Park in Zarcero Costa Rica. This is the Zarcero Church. Have a great rest of your day and as always spread the love peeps…

Costa Rica Street Mini Series.
Here is a mini street series I did in Costa Rica while on the road. This trip wasn’t much of a photo trip per say it was mostly about hanging out with my boy and catch up since I had not seen him for four years, but I did manage to squeeze some photos in. This are some of my street shots.

This guy was pulled over on his motorcycle, I started making noise wile I was looking through the view finder and when he looked I snapped a shot.

This dude was super cool, he approached me to sell me lottery tickets while my hommie was getting redbulls and beer, the conversation shifted and we started talking about work, while he was going on a rant I snapped away, super cool cat.

This guy was in line on a ferry, we were on our way out, this girl was looking at him with a camera on her hand thinking about taking a photo, I said to her “that makes a great photo”, she said yes it does, so I graved my camera whistled and when he turned I snapped this flick.
