The Perfect Way to End a Hike

After a 10 mile hike there really is no better way to end an incredible hike at Yosemite National Park. I was dirty, beat and really thirsty. We stopped at the local grocery store, got a sixpack and enjoyed this insane view. Who needs a TV with views like this.

Selfie At Yosemite

I really dislike selfies, specially of my self. This one I’m ok with, I shot this a long time ago at Yosemite National Park before a long night of shooting the stars. I was up there watching the sky all night freezing my butt off. It was an amazing night to say the least. I remember being so scared of bears, at one point I had to walk back to my car to get a something and I was so panicked its funny now that I look back at it. This was by far one of the coolest nights of my life. I shot it from a tripod shorty before the sun rose.

Star Gazing at Glacier Pointe, Yosemite California

Star Gazing at Glacier Pointe, Yosemite California;
Have you ever been to Yosemite California? Have you ever been to Glacier Point in Yosemite California? Have you ever laid down and watched the stars all night eating sour worms drinking redbulls and thinking how amazing life is at Glacier Point in Yosemite California? Have you ever done this until the sun comes up? I am lucky enough to say that I have, I was mesmerized by the stars and the valley, in the distance I could see flashlights climbing up the half dome. I have to say for me this is was one of those life changing moments. This is why we must enjoy every second we have here and go sleep with the stars.

This was shot around 3am, the moon was still out and I was lost in space. This felt more like home than any home I have ever had. I was laying in a sleeping bag with 3 cameras set up, one shooting video and the other 2 shooting timelapse. I love Yosemite its just amazing. Started at sunset with hundreds of people watching the sunset and it ended up with us watching the sunrise with big fat grins on our faces, shortly after hikers stared arriving and all I could do was smile…

Shot of the day-Up the Mist Trail

Good morning peeps and happy Thursday. I make it a point to go to Yosemite every year. If you have never been there, I highly recommend you put it in your bucket list, this place will blow your mind. I have been to lots of cool places but Yosemite is my favorite. It does something to me, it is magical.

I was hiking up the Mist trail when I shot this, If you look to the left of the water fall, thats where I was sitting when I took this photo. Its quite the hike, but I highly recommend it. Make sure you bring some food and plenty of water, when you get up to the top it will be the best meal you have had in a long time with an incredible view. Spread the love peeps…

Up the Mist trail

Daily Photo-Top View

This is the top of Nevada Falls at Yosemite, its a crazy hike but the view is well worth it.  Distance:  7 miles (11 km) round trip to Nevada Fall. Elevation at trailhead:  4,000 feet (1,200 meters) Elevation Gain:  1,900 feet (580 meters) to top of Nevada Fall. Why Hike the Mist Trail?  This is Yosemite’s signature hike. While many of Yosemite’s trails are popular due to having a single spectacular destination, the Mist Trail has fabulous views scattered all along it, beginning at the bridge overlook, progressing to two unforgettable waterfalls that fall a combined total of more than 900 feet (270 meters), and ending with perhaps the most striking of all the Nevada Fall.  This is where I’m sitting taking in the view with my legs hanging over the edge a bit scary but amazing :)

Check out this post to see my hike up to the top.
