I love the Everglades, I mean I really, really like going out there. However it is summer, and that means wet season, and unfortunately the mosquitos are insane out there, almost unbearable.
People always ask me when the best time to go to the Everglades is, and my answer is always the same. If you want to get really good photos go there in the summer time. If you want to enjoy the Everglades, go there in the winter time.
No mater what time of the year you go, one thing is for sure, you will be glad you did. The swamp will change you, it is a beautiful place, something you only read in good books…

Ansel Adams once said “Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer – and often the supreme disappointment.” I could not agree more with this quote. It is only when all the elements come together and you happened to be there that the magic will happen.
For me, that was yesterday. It all happened so fast, but when it was all said and done, it was perfect. Top that off by an awesome circle of friends to share that moment with, and you have the perfect recipe for awesomeness.
Here is a video I shot a while back with my friend Natalia, its called one last chance because that is the name of the song. We went out to the beach to make a cool video from the sky and this is what we came up with. There is another one on the works… Check out the behind the scenes video at the bottom of the post.
Here is another example how bad weather makes great photos. This was shot about 10 minutes before a crazy storm came down. What is crazy about this is that only a couple of us were shooting, everyone else left to seek cover. I find that mind blowing specially when as a photographer our number one goal is to find epic conditions to shoot.
Remember bad weather makes for great photos. Do not run and hide, instead press that shutter.

This shot was hand held and it was really windy, by me raising my iso and shutter speed I was making sure I did NOT get a blurry picture. Check out the vlog below.
Here is a video I put together from my aerial shots from La Jolla California. I had such a great time hanging out with my friends going on all kinds of crazy adventures and of course taking some awesome photos and flying my drone.
I had the awesome pleasure of helping out my friend Christian out with a photo shoot of his BMW M4. Let me tell you we had a blast and the pics turned out epic. I love shooting with my friends its always a good time and a great way to spend the day. Check out the video to see what went down bts.
