Shot of the Day-Park Guell

Here is one from Park Guell peeps, one of the coolest parks in the world :) Spread the love peeps…

The park was originally part of a commercially unsuccessful housing site, the idea of Count Eusebi Güell, whom the park was named after. It was inspired by the English garden city movement; hence the original English name Park (in the Catalan language spoken in Catalonia where Barcelona is located, the word for “Park” is “Parc”, and the name of the place is “Parc Güell” in its original language). If you are in Barcelona Parc Guell is a must go to place, this park sits ont the side of a hill overlooking all of Barcelona, it is breath taking and full of life to say the least. I sat on this spot for about an hr and a half waiting for the sunset.

Shot of the Day-Man in Blue

This is Barcelona Spain late at night in La Rambla, the guy you see there in blue is actually the gate keeper, he was waiting to close the gates there at the end. This place is really cool, you can get easily lost in the city laid out like a maze. I was actually on my way home when I shot this, what caused me to stop was the man in blue, after shooting this I waited to see what he was doing, about 15 minutes later he walked up to the gates and locked them up and took off.
