Shot of the Day-Hidden Bay Bridge

This is the Bay Bridge in San Francisco California. I took this photo about 2:30 in the morning, I was drained, burned out and completely over it, Keep in mind I had been shooting since 5am almost 24 continuos hrs. I did a set of about 15 photos from a different location, on the walk back to the car the photographer I was with says “ohh this is a good shot” I said lets go Im over it, then a burst of energy came upon me, so I jumped on top of this weird maintenance house and took this one photo.

We went back to the hotel and I never thought about it until I got home and loaded the photos in my comp. As it turns out this is my favorite one from the whole set. Thank you so much to this amazing photographer for pointing this out when all I wanted to do was go to sleep…

Shot of the Day-Raygun Gothic Rocketship

The Raygun Gothic Rocketship is one really cool sculpture in San Francisco. Located near Pier 14 on the Embarcadero it sits right on the waterfront next to the San Francisco Ferry Building. What you see behind it is the amazing Oakland Bridge. Have a safe and amazing weekend peeps. Spread the love…

Shot of the Day-Van Ness Ave Transport

Here is another shot from the beautiful city of San Francisco, I was on my way to the Ferry Building when I got lucky and stuck at a red light (I know its not very often I say that), so I reached for my cam in my back seat and started snapping away. You can see in the distance the Oakland Bridge between the buildings.

Shot of the Day-Port of San Francisco

Here is a photo taken from the 9th floor at the Hyatt Regency of the Ferry Building in SF. If you have never been here before and you go to San Francisco, this is a must, the interior of this hotel is stunning, you can also get this amazing view. I actually found out about this place from the iPad app Stuck On Earth by Tray Ratclif, this was a location by Thomas Hawk. If you don’t have this app you must get it. Its free and its amazing, check My Top Ten Apps for links and a review.

Shot of the Day-Pirates of the Pacific

I shot this through the window while eating at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco CA, I remember it was really foggy that day and I couldn’t see anything interesting, after my meal the fog started to clear up and there she was, this cool pirate ship. I applied some textures to make a bit more interesting.
