I’ve shot the Huntington beach pier many times, but never like this. I shot this pictures with my Dji Mavic on my last trip to Cali. The weather was crazy, they were having a cold front and it was constantly raining. I stopped here for a bit to fly and just enjoy the scenery before getting stuck in traffic for 6 hrs on my way back to San Diego.
I really like how the photos came out and I edited them all with my newly updated Dji Lightroom Presets. I have attached a map incase you are looking for this spot next time you are down in Cali.
This is Black Point Park. It is the first time I visit this place and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It is such a cool spot I have to start visiting it more often. It is surrounded by rocks and you gt to walk on this awesome path that is usually underwater during high tide.
I love patterns and this image is no different. Patterns come in all shapes, sizes, and forms. There are men made patterns, and natural patterns. Natural patterns being my favorite. Think about it, this same exact pattern will never form again for the rest of time. Something to think about.
Here is day 2 on developing your own photography style, remember to grab the RAW file and follow along.
Remember that practicing your editing skills will help you develop your style. Go out and shoot everyday after you get home edit your photos until you get the look you are looking for.
