Miami Beach Holocaust Memorial Under a Full Moon

Miami Beach Holocaust Memorial Under a Full Moon

I shot this a while back, it was a full moon and it was a beautiful night. There isn’t a lot of space to compose a shot with a 200mm lens around the sculpture, so I tried a few different lenses but just couldn’t get my shot. I finally realized that if I shot the hand in one frame and then the moon in another I could compose the shot I had in my head, something surreal. I combined the 2 shots in photoshop and created this composition. (click on the tutorials tab where I show you how to add the moon to your photos)
