La Jolla California

La Jolla California, after an amazing two days in San Diego, we were driving up the coast and stopped here to watch the sunset. What a magical place. If you are anything like me and love being outside and love the water, you will love this place. It’s Breath taking. We spent about three hrs here. I love looking into the horizon and getting lost. It does something to me, I feel free, I feel at peace. I named this peace Inspire me because I felt inspired the entire time I was here. Do you have a place that does that to you?

Manhattan Beach Pier

Manhattan Beach Pier, this beach is truly amazing, its just unlike any other beach. This particular day was super cloudy and a bit cold but the sunset was still just amazing. I met up with one of my friends there to shoot the sunset. After a long day of photos on our way to the hotel, we decided to make a pit stop down town LA to get a couple of quick shots but it turned out to be an all nighter with my camera, I love days like this because I come home with a camera loaded with cool photos. I look back on how tired I was but I’m glad we made a pit stop, thats what redbulls are for right?

Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe Sunrise

This is one of the most beautiful places in the planet to watch a sunrise, however I have a love hate relationship with this particular place. I love going here and clearing my head and be one with the mountains. I don’t know why I can never get the photograph that I want, what is in my head and what I feel never seems to translate correctly when I photograph this particular spot.

I have photographed it hundreds of times and I am yet to get that one shot. This is the closest I have gotten. I was with my wonderful mother this particular morning, we woke up at 4 am and drove to this place from Reno NV to watch the sunrise. We ended up hiking down the mountain to the lake and back up. I had an amazing time with my beautiful mother. This was one of those days I will never forger :)

I will keep trying to get the shot I am looking for. A perfect excuse to keep coming back to this amazing place.

Shot of the Day-Hidden Bay Bridge

This is the Bay Bridge in San Francisco California. I took this photo about 2:30 in the morning, I was drained, burned out and completely over it, Keep in mind I had been shooting since 5am almost 24 continuos hrs. I did a set of about 15 photos from a different location, on the walk back to the car the photographer I was with says “ohh this is a good shot” I said lets go Im over it, then a burst of energy came upon me, so I jumped on top of this weird maintenance house and took this one photo.

We went back to the hotel and I never thought about it until I got home and loaded the photos in my comp. As it turns out this is my favorite one from the whole set. Thank you so much to this amazing photographer for pointing this out when all I wanted to do was go to sleep…
