The Oakland Bay Bridge From The Beach Below

The Oakland Bay Bridge From The Beach Below, San Francisco California.

After a long drive up the coast I had made it just in time for the sunset, the only thing left to do was park the rental car and hike down the hill to set up for my shot. I have wanted to shoot here many times but this was my first time. Parking and walking was the easy part, the hard part was hiking down from the main road to the beach next to the bridge, specially since I had no idea where I was going and there is no clear path on where to go on a very steep hill.

Finally I had made it. There I was, now all I had to do was wait for the sunset, get my shot, and hike up the hill in the dark, and it was really really dark.

The sunset wasn’t epic but its wasn’t bad, and the photo well I’m happy with it, its not what I had imagined in my head but I’m happy with it. I wanted more clouds and a crazy pink sky… maybe next time…

This is shot from the East Side of the brigade from Yerba Buena Island facing West. What you see is the Bay Bridge and the San Francisco Skyline Below it.

Google Glass Photowalk

Good day peeps, last week I was in San Francisco and I got to go to this awesome Google Glass Photowalk. The #TreyHawkWalk with Trey Ratcliff and Thomas Hawk, there was over 400 people and it was kind of nuts but lots of fun. If you want to see more photos from the event go HERE.

Below are my photos from the walk, I was focused on street photography more than anything else. This was shot with my Nikon D800 but I was also shooting film. Photos to come soon..

Star Gazing at Glacier Pointe, Yosemite California

Star Gazing at Glacier Pointe, Yosemite California;
Have you ever been to Yosemite California? Have you ever been to Glacier Point in Yosemite California? Have you ever laid down and watched the stars all night eating sour worms drinking redbulls and thinking how amazing life is at Glacier Point in Yosemite California? Have you ever done this until the sun comes up? I am lucky enough to say that I have, I was mesmerized by the stars and the valley, in the distance I could see flashlights climbing up the half dome. I have to say for me this is was one of those life changing moments. This is why we must enjoy every second we have here and go sleep with the stars.

This was shot around 3am, the moon was still out and I was lost in space. This felt more like home than any home I have ever had. I was laying in a sleeping bag with 3 cameras set up, one shooting video and the other 2 shooting timelapse. I love Yosemite its just amazing. Started at sunset with hundreds of people watching the sunset and it ended up with us watching the sunrise with big fat grins on our faces, shortly after hikers stared arriving and all I could do was smile…

Queen Marry

Here is a photo from the Queen Marry in Long Beach California. This day was Crazy, we drove up the coast from La Jolla and ended up here. We were so tired but ended up staying up until 3 am shooting in the ship, then we went to our room and crashed out. We got a room on the very top all the way to the left right underneath the “Q”, that was our window, unfortunately we didn’t see any ghosts or nothing weird happened…. Spread the love peeps….
