Its days like this that I live for. On my last trip, (I just got back yesterday) I went up to Lake Tahoe with my good friend Gil, it was an amazing drive up the road and some great conversation. I love photography for this reason, I mean its not only about the photo, its about all that happens in between.
This is Lake Tahoe, an amazing gift to us from mother nature. I have been here many times for the last 15 years. I have some amazing memories here but the older I get the more I can appreciate places like this.
I have shot this place so many times but have always been disappointed with my photos, this time the photography gods hooked me up, all I really had to do was press the shutter. Im very happy with my shots. It was so silent, so still, nobody around and the sunset was unforgettable. Thank you Gil for coming up with me, catching up, and sharing this awesomeness with me.

This is my first Costa Rica Sunset experience. I must say Costa Rica is just amazing, you have amazing mountains and beautiful beaches, the best of both worlds, not to mention some really cool people. It seems like everytime I go somewhere I fall in love with it, I can’t wait to see what my next trip has in store. You know that friend you have that’s more like an extention of your self but a little bit weirder? I am lucky enugh to have a couple of those friends. On this trip I met with my friend Rudy, we hadn’t seen each other for 4 long years. I went to Costa Rica to see him and we picked up right where we left off. The last time I saw him was on the top of a mountain riding dirt bikes, this time was rallying in the dirt roads and beaches of Costa Rica, like nothing ever happened, like it was the next day. This is a private beach we drove about 9 hrs to get to on dirt roads while catching up and laughing our asses off. This went on for 5 crazy days. It was really good to see my friend…..

This is my last Post of 2012. In some parts of the world is already 2013, but where Im at we still have a few hrs so here is my last post for the year.
What can I say 2012 was an amazing year, lots of great things happend, lots of new friends, lots of travels, lots smiles, tons of photos and great memories.
Here is a photo from yesterday, after a crazy night, I woke up itching to go fly my kite. I went out there but the winds were insane on the beach, I tried to fly only to crash a very nice camera and rig. Shortly after I put everything away and stared dooing long exposures with my ND filter, a fun day all in all. Click Here to See how I took this photo.

2012 Best Photos
2012 has been a really awesome year. So many things in my life have fallen into place. Sure there is been some ups and downs but thats just life you know. That being said here is some of my favorite photographs from 2012. This are not only my faves because they are cool photos but also because they mark a milestone in my life, they are very meaningful.
I cant wait to see what 2013 has for me, perhaps finally opening my gallery in Miami, starting my tv show, more travels, friends and photos, who knows, but I know one thing for sure, it will certainly be extremely fun, full of sun and laughter, friends and family and with lots of new lessons to be learned.

Central Park in the Rain. (shot in the cold rain with my feet and clothes drenched for 9+ hrs, this was the last shot of the night)
Some West Coast Ball in Venice Beach. (had an amazing unforgettable day with one of the coolest kids alive ;))
This Donkey was one of the first photos I ever sold 3 years ago. I had the pleasure of shooting him again this year.
I hold LA close to my heart. I lived there as a kid. Spoke no English and was thrown in a 5th grade classroom full of English speaking kids. I was completely petrified. (I lived)
Shooting this show made me realize that photographing music will forever be an important part of my life.

How was your thanksgiving? Mine was very relaxed, hang out with my parents and my dogs and just chilled out, and no I didn’t eat any turkey, instead my amazing mother made some amazing Mexican food :)
