I spent some time out at the Everglades last week. I wanted to shoot some birds along with some gators and other wildlife. It was so incredible out there, I felt I was part of the Everglades and felt right at home. Photographing birds and wildlife can be extremely soothing. Not only birds but wildlife in general. Being out in nature is a perfect way to release stress and just get lost. This is why I created this video on how to shoot wildlife photos.

This is a full in-depth review of the K&F Concept Backpack. This bag is small but it carries a punch. It is very well-built, waterproof, light, and best of all it is very affordable.
As a travel landscape photographer, I need to pack very light. It is not fun to carry heavy bags around, and this bag does the trick. I can fit everything that I need and have room for more.
In this review, I show you the entire bag and you can see how there is plenty of room for more things. K&F Concept Backpack bag is well made and it actually looks really good. It does not look like your typical dorky camera bad, and we all know looks are important.
Check out the video and let me know if you have any questions in the comments below. If you have the bag I would love to hear your thoughts.
How to start a photography blog, a guide from start to finish.
One of the best ways to showcase your photos and show them to the world to is by starting a photography blog. What does that mean? A photography blog is a place to share your photos, your feelings, your ideas, and really anything you want.
Think of a blog as a timeline of your photography life. You will be able to look back on it and see how far you have come in your photography.
There are many reasons to start a photography blog, but in my opinion, the best reason is to help your business and help you make money. By starting a blog and posting frequently, you will start to rank well on Google and therefore help you with your photography business. Being at the top of page searches you are guaranteed to be in front of potential customers first.
If you are just a hobbyist, you can keep track of your photo albums and share those with your friends in a nice and organized way. It is also a great way to keep a timeline of your family and your pets. I have been blogging for 7 years and to me, it is another creative outlet as well as a timeline and it helps me a lot with my photography business.

In this video, I show you how you can take a flat image into Lightroom and make it pop. By playing with a couple local adjustments and by using the sliders in the basic panel, you can make any image come to life.
I shot this image underexposed on purpose, only because I knew exactly what I was going to do with it in post. I wanted to create drama, not that I need to as the landscape lent itself to such dramatic light.
Lightroom is great in this way, you have so much control over your RAW file you can bring out the colors just as you saw them and create drama just like you have it in your head.
I shot this with my Nikon D800 and my Nikon 14-24mm lens. Drop me a comment below, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you ever use local adjustments?
