Photo Editing Course

I have just created the best photo editing course on the internet today. I felt the need to do this after doing hundreds of workshops around the world and listening to my student’s needs and struggles.

Photo editing can be a challenge, I know that first hand. When I first started editing I had no idea what I was doing. All the editing programs I was using were very confusing and I was completely overwhelmed and lost.

Photo Editing Course

In this Photo Editing Course, I cover all of the Lightroom develop module along with some awesome tricks. This cool tricks will help you speed up your workflow and develop your own style.

Let me take you back to the beginning. Every time I would go out to take photos I would come back and not have a clue as to what to do with them. I would upload them into Lightroom and I was completely overwhelmed with all the sliders.

I would spend hours behind the computer only to find my self frustrated because my images just didn’t look right. Some looked dull and crappy and some just overdone.

Fast forward 10 years. It took me a long time, but I finally arrived. Once my editing was on point, I started attracting the right clients, such as Nikon, National Geographic, Corona, and Volvo just to name a few.

Photo Editing Course, photography editing classes

In this course, I cover a wide range of photography genres. From portraiture to landscape photography and everything in between. I believe it’s important to be a well-rounded photographer and editor, this way you attract high paying clients.

Miami Photography Workshops

Miami Photography Workshops are finally here. I have very exciting news, over the last year I have been working really hard on my new Miami Photography Workshops and tours

7 years ago I hosted my first photography workshop in Miami. I remember clearly setting it up and posting it on my social media. It was a shoot with a model, I ended up selling it out, the attendees had a great time and it was loads of fun. I was hooked…

Fast forward a couple of years. I decided to do all types of Miami photography workshops and more often. I decided to do this for 2 reasons, number one because I really love teaching people, and number two because I never had this type of opportunity to learn.

Miami Photography Workshops

You see, back then workshops where really non-existent, at least affordable ones that anyone could attend. Everything I would ever find was incredibly expensive. Such as 12-day African excursions for loads of cash.  Don’t get me wrong, I would love to go on one, but let’s face it, not a lot of people have that kind of cash or free time to attend one of this awesome workshops.

This is when the lightbulb went on and I decided to create 1-8 hour workshops that everyone could afford.

I ran all the workshops out of my own website (and still do). Once things started to get a bit crazy I decided to build a new site, add new times and dates and create an all around fun place for people to come learn, participate and take some incredible photos that when WalksOfMiami was born. .This is the beginning of something big. I want to keep adding tours and workshops and I will also be adding new hosts (aka teachers and tour guides) all hand-picked and overseen by me.

Thank you for being part of this journey and for all your continuous support. If you are from overseas and have been asking me about my dates for workshops, guess what, they are happening all the time. Just drop in by WalksOfMiami.com and book your tour. I will see you there…

The Everglades National Park is Back Open

I am happy to tell you that the Everglades National Park is back open. When hurricane Irma hit South Florida, it left a lot of destruction in its path, especially at the Everglades. From what I was told by the rangers the roads were covered with trees and that the entire place was just in bad shape. The good news is that as of last week, they reopened it and we are good to go.

That brings me to October, this month is the official start of my Capture the Everglades Photography Workshop and Tour. That makes me really happy, as the Everglades is one of my favorite places to visit and photograph. It is so incredibly beautiful out there, I can’t really explain it. Just picture your self-sitting in pure silence hearing birds catching the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen. That’s what happens at the Everglades every single time, and it never disappoints…

If you get a chance to go out there, do it. If you need some guided assistance you can reach me directly through my contact page or simply sign up to one of my workshops. I promise you will not be disappointed and you will come back with a new respect for mother nature.

What I love about my workshops

One thing that I have learned about my workshops is how much I love to share what I have learned over the years with other people. I’m a big fan of workshops and have taken them with all kinds of phtographers. I believe this is the best way to learn, not only do you meet amzing people with your same interests but, you also get to pick their brain and learn a lot from them in a short amout of time.

Its not until I stared teaching that I realized teaching is just as much about learning than it is about teaching. When I am involved with this small gorups of photogrpahers we are able to share ideas and knoledge and it goes both ways. I am very greatful to be lucky enough to get this oportunity. What is also amazing is that I often get to see the same faces in the different workshops that I do.

Its alwyas great when people leave with a grin on their face. This moments are so special to me as a landscape photogrpaer and sharing it with others is something even more incredible. Thank you to everyone that comes out to my workshops and supports me throughout. Here is a photo from this weekends Sunrise Workshop. It has become very popular and very meaningful to me. Even if I’m not teaching you can find me here year round catching an amzing sunrise by my self.
