Photo Editing Course

I have just created the best photo editing course on the internet today. I felt the need to do this after doing hundreds of workshops around the world and listening to my student’s needs and struggles.

Photo editing can be a challenge, I know that first hand. When I first started editing I had no idea what I was doing. All the editing programs I was using were very confusing and I was completely overwhelmed and lost.

Photo Editing Course

In this Photo Editing Course, I cover all of the Lightroom develop module along with some awesome tricks. This cool tricks will help you speed up your workflow and develop your own style.

Let me take you back to the beginning. Every time I would go out to take photos I would come back and not have a clue as to what to do with them. I would upload them into Lightroom and I was completely overwhelmed with all the sliders.

I would spend hours behind the computer only to find my self frustrated because my images just didn’t look right. Some looked dull and crappy and some just overdone.

Fast forward 10 years. It took me a long time, but I finally arrived. Once my editing was on point, I started attracting the right clients, such as Nikon, National Geographic, Corona, and Volvo just to name a few.

Photo Editing Course, photography editing classes

In this course, I cover a wide range of photography genres. From portraiture to landscape photography and everything in between. I believe it’s important to be a well-rounded photographer and editor, this way you attract high paying clients.

What is Luminar? Luminar is the new editing software made by Skylum. It is incredibly fast and the possibilities are endless. I have been using it for a while now and it is really good. While trying to find something broken in the software or something missing I keep finding new features. I can not find anything wrong with the software as of this Luminar review.

How does it work?

When you open up the software, right off the bat the first thing you see is a set of presets at the bottom of the screen. This is really good because it gives you a good idea of what the photo can actually look like before you even start doing anything to it.

If you really like what you see, then you can just use that preset and be done with it. I know it is that awesome and super simple to do.

If you want to adjust that preset, all you have to do is apply it and adjust it to taste. (see the right-hand side) Luminar Tutorial

I know it is crazy to think about software reading your mind, but it really does. When you pick the quick and awesome workspace there is a slider to boost the image as much as you want. Then magic happens.

Photography Courses From Editing To The Business Of Photography

I have put together a series of photography courses on Skillshare, and the list will continue to grow.  I will be adding more photography courses on a regular basis.  As an educator in the photography field, I am happy to put all my knowledge in one place and share it with the world.

Aside from photography workshops, I also have a lot of tutorials on my Youtube channel.  However, the photography courses I have on Skillshare are premium courses where I go into detail about the particular topics.

There are so many ways to learn anything nowadays, and it is no different with photography. It has never been easier to grow as a photographer, or in any field thanks to the internet. I remember back when I started, online classes were non-existent, and nobody was teaching photography workshops.

The Internet Changed Education

Things have changed and education is available to anyone in the world in just about any topic for pennies on the dollar. It is crazy to think you can log into Skillshare and learn about any topic you can think of. I am proud to be part of this movement helping people master their craft across the glove.

When you use my Skillshare link you will get 2 months for free. You can learn for free for 2 months, its crazy and if you want to keep your account active after that, its under $10 dollars per month. That’s a great deal considering all the courses there are on Skillshare

Photography Courses

I will try to focus on topics where I used to struggle when I was starting out. The advantage of teaching workshops is that I get to see first hand and ask what people struggle with the most. I will be putting all these courses on Skillshare to try to make it easier for people to achieve their photographic goals.

If you have any suggestions for future courses you would like to see, please leave them in the comments below. Here is the link to get 2 months for FREE

How to Install Lightroom Presets in Lightroom and Lightroom CC

How to install Lightroom Presets. In this video, I will teach you how you can install Lightroom Presets in your old Lightroom and in Lightroom CC. People often ask me if they switch to Lightroom CC can they move their presets over, and the answer is YES. You can install old presets, new presets and any kind of prests in Lightroom CC. The beautiful thing about Adobe Lightroom is that they are always updating their software. However, they always think of us and of all the tools we use.

Ever since I have been using Lightroom Presets, I have never had an issue with installing them in their software. With the update to Lightroom CC, it is no different. The ease of use of Adobe Lightroom and the ease of installing the Lightroom Presets make it a no-brainer for me.

How to Install Lightroom Presets

In this video, I will show you how you can do this very easily. The Presets I use in the video are my DJI Aerial Presets. In the second video, I will show you how to install Lightroom presets in any other Lightroom you might have. You can download more of my Lightroom Presets here

How to shoot the sunset

In this video, I will teach you how to shoot the sunset. I cover settings, composition, and the thought process that goes behind it when shooting the sunset. It has taken me a long time to learn all of this, and I try to put it all in this video.

The images below are the images from this particular evening. As you can see if you follow my suggestions you can get a nice set of photos from one single sunset. Just remember that practice and patience make perfect.
