What time is sunset? I live by this question every day, constantly checking the exact time for sunset and looking at the clouds.
Yesterday was no different. I got home and looking at the clouds I could tell it was going to be a great sunset. I grabbed my camera and headed up to my rooftop.
As I watched the colors change for a bit I could tell something magical was about to happen., all of the sudden coming down from behind a cloud there it was, a massive fireball hiding behind the Miami Skyline.

Naples Sunset. I went to the West Coast of Florida this past weekend to shoot the sunset. Naples to be exact. I haven’t been to Naples for a hot minute, and like always it never disappoints. The sunset is always epic over there, its rare when you get a bad one. I’m not sure if its the geographical location, but the sunsets are almost always epic.
I shot this with a 150-600 mm lens so I could get some compression. Meaning bring the sun forward making it look massive as much as I could. Sometimes I wish I had a 2x converter. Maybe is time to get one. If you are ever in South Florida, take a day to check out a Naples sunset. You will not be dissapointed.

Miami Sunset and Best Place to Watch. Here in Miami we have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, and guess what? They are free :) I shot this from one of my favorite spots in Miami Beach, sunset harbor. I must say if you are are photographer or simply enjoy beautiful sunsets this is the place.

I shot this photo with a 70 to 200mm lens to get the sun to blow up a bit. As you can see I waited for the right time to catch the sun right in the middle of the buildings. What do you like better sunsets or sunrises?

My friend just purchased a really cool Lifted Jeep and wanted me to shoot it for him at sunset. We both set out on a journey that got us to this particular spot. This is a popular location to photograph cars as you have a few palm trees and the Miami Skyline in the back. Once the sun started to set we realized there were no clouds and no color in the sky.
This is a really common problem when it comes to photography, we can only hope for epic skies every time, however this is almost always never the case. In fact more times than not, we have very bland skies. This is why I created SkyOverlays.org. This is a complete library of the most epic high resolution skies shot from around the world by me., and all the collections are super affordable.
Anyhow, after swapping out the sky for an epic one, using Luminar AI, and afterwards I edited this photo with my Lightroom Presets. I think it’s safe to say the photo of the Lifted Jeep turned out EPIC…

The Ultimate U-turn. This is quite a sight to see. I often sit on top of this bridge to watch the ships take off. They usually leave at sunset, but they do not just take off straight into the ocean. First, they come to the bay to turn around. You would never imagine something so massive fitting into a tight little space. Give me the keys to that think and I will bash it right into the skyline. Well done Capitan :)
