Miami after hours

I went out shooting downtown Miami the other night and the weather was perfect. It was so nice out it made shooting really easy. We walked up and down the river trying to catch some nice cityscapes. I think I managed to get this 2 shots. I want to go back and get some different angles, this is a tricky part of the city to shoot since you can’t really see the sunset from there.

Check out the vid to see what happened behind the scenes.

Pictures of Huntington Beach Pier

I’ve shot the Huntington beach pier many times, but never like this. I shot this pictures with my Dji Mavic on my last trip to Cali. The weather was crazy, they were having a cold front and it was constantly raining. I stopped here for a bit to fly and just enjoy the scenery before getting stuck in traffic for 6 hrs on my way back to San Diego.

I really like how the photos came out and I edited them all with my newly updated Dji Lightroom Presets. I have attached a map incase you are looking for this spot next time you are down in Cali.

Safe travels :)

The Power of Positive Thinking

Here is a quick rant about the power of positive thinking and how I live my life. There really isn’t a crazy formula, it really is as simple as smiling and putting out positive things into the universe. The universe will return the same energy into your being.

Enjoy the video.

Bad weather makes great photos

Here is another example how bad weather makes great photos. This was shot about 10 minutes before a crazy storm came down. What is crazy about this is that only a couple of us were shooting, everyone else left to seek cover. I find that mind blowing specially when as a photographer our number one goal is to find epic conditions to shoot.

Remember bad weather makes for great photos. Do not run and hide, instead press that shutter.

Camera settings: 1/400 F8 ISO 320

This shot was hand held and it was really windy, by me raising my iso and shutter speed I was making sure I did NOT get a blurry picture. Check out the vlog below.
