La Quinta Gameros
On my last trip to Chihuahua Mexico, the place I was born, I ended up visiting La Quinta Gameros. I have not been to this place since I was a kid, it brought up lots of memories and I saw it from a different perspective.
La Quinta Gamers is an incredible mansion in Chihuahua Chihuahua Mexico, the architecture is mind-blowing on many levels. It currently houses the Centro Cultural Universitario Quinta Gameros, a regional museum.
The guides say that Manuel Gameros started building Quinta Gameros in 1907 as a wedding present for his fiancée, Elisa Muller. By the time it was finished in 1910, she had died, and soon afterward the Revolution began, and the Gameros family fled to the United States.
The Gear
The gear I used to shoot these photos: Nikon D800 with a Nikon 14-24mm a. I edit all my images with my Lightroom Presets download them and give them a try.
Hello Edin, I am running a non-commercial web site dedicated to Art Nouveau worldwide and I would like to use a couple of your photos from this page, of course with your copyright notice and a link to the source. May I?
Hi Andrei, that is not a problem at all as long as you link the site. Thank you.
Thank you very much Edin – it’s a rare pleasure for me to be able to use photos shot by a real professional: https://art.nouveau.world/quinta-gameros
Could it be possible to obtain the three photos I used (or at least the first one) in a slightly higher resolution? I am not speaking publishing quality originals here, just enough to fill the screen to do justice to both splendid interiors and your photographic skills?
No problem, please send me a message on my get in touch tab above and I will reply with better images. Thank you.
